How to Get in
**NEW ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENT**
Prior to requesting admissions to any DRMI course, you must first click on the link below, complete and submit the Course Recommendation Form (U.S. Participants Only):
U.S. Participants: U.S. participants may attend any course except the International Defense Management Course (IDMC) or the Senior International Defense Management Course (SIDMC). Military participants must be 0-3 or above; civilians GS-9 or above. We are a DoD sponsored activity, therefore no tuition is charged for DoD military and civilians. Your agency is responsible for travel and per diem. To obtain a quota, please fill out the form below and submit.
Please indicate in the "Comments" section if you are taking the full four-week course or two 2-week sessions.
International Participants: Please contact your training office, MAAG, MilGroup, ODC, SAO, DAO, or the like, for further information. Resident course enrollments are based upon official requests initiated through the in-country US security assistance agency. Please do not submit the form listed below.
Quotas are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis. Requests for quotas beyond capacity are placed on a stand-by list. Advance information will be sent to candidates about 4-6 weeks before course commencement date.
For additional information regarding US participation in our resident courses, please contact our Administrative Officer at DSN 756-2104/(831) 656-2104 or e-mail DrmiAdmin@nps.edu.
Official requests for international mobile courses should be made as far in advance as possible. This allows adequate time for any required translations and the coordination of logistical requirements. The annual Security Cooperation Education and Training Working Groups (SCETWGs) offer a forum for initial requests and planning. For additional information regarding the programming of a mobile course, please contact our International Programs Coordinator at (831) 656-3827 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
