Sponsor Air Force Research Laboratory (Air Force)
Summary The objective of this project is to extend collaborative research work between Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) and Spacecraft Research and Design Center (SRDC) at the Naval Postgraduate School in the development of space technologies. There are several research areas of common interest in spacecraft technologies, such as vibration isolation and control, shape control, jitter control, acquisition, tracking and pointing of optical payload, adaptive control slew maneuver of flexible spacecraft, control moment gyro control, space superiority and spacecraft system design. The specific areas and tasks will be defined each year and agreed. the research work done at SRDC will be presented at AFRL annually.
