Summary The investigators will provide research, support, and development of analytical tools to assist the Director of the Center for Army Analysis in the fulfillment of his mission. The proposed research focuses on (1) technical review and quality control of CAA optimization and decision analysis efforts (2) research and technical support for the Optimal Stationing of Army Forces Model (OSAF), the Base Realignment and Closure Actions Model (BRACAS), and the Army Recapitalization Model, and (3) provide tutorials or short courses for optimization and decision analysis. This project will provide the Director with a reach back capability for several very high visibility programs and support for his staff in the areas of optimization and decision analysis.
