Summary | Orchestrated Simulation through Modeling (OSM) is an agent-based modeling framework developed by NSWCDD. For the past two years NPS Operations Research SEED Center has been working cooperatively with NSWCDD modelers to create tactical scenarios inside OSM to address concept and tactical development such as antiship missile and UCAV defense, counter-maritime SOF operations, and distributed lethality. To date, these efforts have used closed form simulation. This proposal extends the NPS/NSWCDD cooperation to co-develop a version of OSM that will allow real time data input and human decisions for surface tactical wargaming. |
