Summary | This research will develop and implement in usable form the U.S. Navy Recruiter Predictor and Optimization Model (NRPOM). NRPOM is devised as a new mathematical approach to assist Navy Recruiting Command (NRC) with the assignment of recruiters to geographical areas across the U.S. NRPOM consists of two modules, "Predictor" and "Optimizer." The objective of "Predictor" is to accurately estimate the recruiting "quality" of a given territory as a function of its demographics and the Navy's recruiting effort. "Optimizer" uses Predictor's estimates and other recruiting station data to recommend optimal locations of recruiting stations. |
