Summary This project will provide thesis, seminar, and short course support to the approximate 175+ Information Warfare Community students at NPS.
The objective of this project is to the provide Information Warfare Community (IWC) professional development and leadership seminars/mentorship for the IWC students as outlined in the 2018 National Defense Strategy and the Chief of Naval Operations' "Design for Maintaining Maritime Superiority." The objective of the N2/N6 resources for the Center for Information Warfare and Innovation is to provide leadership and professional development seminars/instruction/mentorship to establish synergy between IWC Communities. Resource pay for course preparation, development, classroom facilitation, travel, training, supplies, books, materials, and transportation for the CIWI and other student instruction opportunities. Resources also provides for preparation for student instruction, coordination between commands and Information Warfare students allowing for current real time opportunities to apply knowledge for better support to the warfighter. The CIWI will be the N2/N6 focal point for IWC Culture, Fusion/Efficiency/Effectiveness, Total Work Force Integration, Adaptability & Innovation, Career/Professional Development, and Information Management for the approximately 175+ IWC students enrolled at NPS. This professional development is not a curriculum for NPS.
