Summary A faculty team from the Defense Resources Management Institute (DRMI) will deliver a 5 day Mobile International Defense Management Course (MIDMC) focused on defense resources management for approximately 35-45 military officers and equivalent civilians from the Honduran Armed Forces, Ministry of Defense, and civil society in Tegucigalpa from 3-7 September 2018. The objective of the course is to prepare participants to apply analytic decision making approaches and specific tools in managerial decision-making to make more effective and efficient use of defense resources. Topics to be covered in the course: Analytical tools for managerial decision-making, concepts and techniques of economic reasoning, management decision theory, budgeting, project management and quantitative analysis as they apply to decisions involving the allocation of scarce resources. The course will consist of lectures and small group discussion periods, problem sessions, and case studies.
