Summary | California Institute of Technology, Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) is a NASA federally funded research and development center. JPL is responsible to many critical national assets, including the operation of the Deep Space Network (DSN). The Deep Space Network is a world-wide network of large antennas and communication facilities that support interplanetary spacecraft missions as well as radio and radar astronomy observations. In addition to DSN, JPL's Space Flight Operations Facility and Twenty Five Foot Space Simulator are designated National Landmarks. |
