Summary | This project will continue the assessment of the accuracy of the 3-minute Psychomotor Vigilance Task (PVT) embedded in a wrist-worn/portable devices, and the validation of these devices by comparing them with the standard computer-based PVT test. Building on the results of our experiments conducted in 2015/2016, in FY2017 NPS will determine the intra-subject variability associated with the wrist-worn PVT in two inter-stimulus interval (ISI) conditions. Validation of the 3-minute PVT embedded in wrist-worn/portable devices could result in widespread research use in field studies and potentially greater use across the DoD. |
