Summary The Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) Assault Breaching System (JABS) have proven effective to clear mines and light obstacles on beach and surf zones as well as in very shallow water (VSW, depth up to 40 fi) through the Stand-off Assault Breaching Weapon Fuse Improvement (SOABWFI) program. The Navy and Marine Corps need the capability to rapidly clear mines in shallow water (SW, depth: 40-200 ft.) and deep water (DW, depth over 200 ft.) zones to permit rapid, effective, transition from the sea to land. This project is to support the extension of SOABWFI from VSW to SW/DW through development of 3D prediction model for underwater bomb trajectory such that the final denotation position relative to target position can be predicted.
