Summary The JTWS program has begun the process for establishing a Maritime component. The draft Maritime Capabilities Development Documents (CDD) USSOCOM detailed program schedule provides guidelines and requirements governing the execution of this effort. This effort shall encompass aspects of the following: Coordinate with SPAWAR SSC Pacific and NAVSPECWAR personnel to further understand requirements and needs for the Maritime component; Identify potential technologies associated with threat signal identification and cyber operations; Evaluate size, weight, and power (SWAP) of potential technologies in line with Maritime requirements and needs; Identify related systems with similar or desired capabilities for potential leveraging or partnering opportunities; Develop and conduct computer simulations to assist in evaluating the feasibility of various technologies and techniques in the Maritime environment; Conduct field experiments as necessary to evaluate the feasibility of deploying various technologies in the Maritime environment; and Develop and propose potential system configurations for follow-on Maritime prototype consideration.
