Summary In support of Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory's (LLNL's) Space Situational Awareness (SSA) activities and as a continuation of previous collaborative work, we propose to work on the following tasks: support the integration and test and the flight operations of the SSA CubeSats. Boeing-built CubeSat buses are being integrated with LLNL optical payloads to better enable tracking and ephemeris improvement of satellites and space debris. LLNL, Texas A&M University (TAMU), and NPS are collaborating to test the concept of using very small satellites to accomplish focused research projects of national interest. This project builds on the previous collaborative work between LLNL, TAMU, and NPS also provides opportunities for thesis research for NPS students relevant to their space systems studies.
