Summary The Technical Cooperation Program (TTCP) is an organization originally established by President Eisenhower and as the name infers was set up to allow easier transfer of technology between the member nations. Member nations are US, UK, Australia, Canada, New Zealand. The organization is made up of several groups. This meeting will be for the Aerospace Systems Group and the Naval Postgraduate School Center for Executive Education has been selected to be the location for this year's meeting.
The Aerospace Systems Group (AER) covers the technology and systems aspects of military fixed and rotary wing air platforms and those associated with the construction and deployment of space based assets. It includes UA Vs. and other novel platform configurations and may include payloads where they are a fundamental part of the air or space vehicle. Activities of the Group encompass basic research, exploratory development, and demonstrations o f advanced technology development.
Systems may be studied to gain an understanding of the state of the art, to derive the departure point for future activity, and to evaluate current and near-term technical and operational capabilities. Ranks vary, many are SES and flag equivalent.
