Back CCMR Curricula Development Workshop for new Mobile Course, "Developing Maritime Domain Awareness Capabilities" MASL 319177

Summary At the request of OSD, U.S. Pacific Command, U.S. Pacific Fleet N5, the U.S. Country Teams in Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur Offices of Defense Cooperation, CAPT Tim Doorey, USN (Ret.) will conduct a curricula development workshop with many retired U.S. Navy maritime domain awareness experts. This new curricula will support a series of mobile courses for senior Thai and Malaysian maritime defense officials in September. The new course will address the requirements to acquire the necessary capabilities and capacity to properly monitor a nation's maritime domain, and to detect threats to a nation's Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ), territorial seas and navigable inland waterways. It addresses all-source analysis and rapid dissemination of actionable intelligence to various commands and interdiction platforms. This workshop is funded through DOD Maritime Security Initiative funding as programmed via the Naval Education Training Security Assistance Field Activity (NETSAFA) CCMR MASL P319177.
