Summary | We propose to draw on our experience in space-based computing to investigate performance, applicable radiation tolerance techniques, and power/weight/size for FPGA and multi-core CPU space-based computer architectures. We will embody this experience in the design of CFTP experiment to fly on NPSaT1 incorporating the techniques developed at NPS, the ones detailed in the radiation-tolerant space-based processor design handbook that will be completed in the first quarter of 2015. |
