Summary | The Lighthouse Interagency Analytical Methodology project seeks to provide advanced analytic training and a structured mobile data capture platform to the Department of State's Bureau of Conflict and Stabilization Operations (CSO). The CSO is currently providing non-lethal training and support to non-violent Syrian opposition forces. In preparation for the day that the Assad regime falls, the CSO seeks to understand the network dynamics and relational ties of those that receive training and equipment. To this end, methodologies taught and research in the Common Operational Research Environment Lab (CORE Lab) and the Lighthouse mobile data collection platform enable the capture of relevant data and the exploitation of this data through the use of social network, geospatial and temporal analysis. |
