Summary | Abstract for the Distance Learning Certificates-Graduate School of Defense Management FY21 (Curricula 192, 194, 196, 198, 202, 204, 206, 208, 218, 220, 230, 238 and 244) The Graduate School of Defense Management's distance learning certificates provide educational options to the DoD workforce, with priority offered to the Department of the Navy, and other federal agencies. The purpose of the distance learning certificates is to offer participants flexible opportunities for professional and personal development, thereby instilling continuous learning behaviors that contribute to a more effective DoD workforce and warfighter. Civilian students, non-Naval active duty officers of the Unites States Armed Forces, and defense contractors are sponsored by their commands with a tuition funding model with the tuition per course set at $2,500. The web-based instructional modality offers students a pathway to defense-focused graduate education opportunities when their commands do not have sufficient funding to send their employees to the in-resident graduate programs offered by the Naval Postgraduate School. |
