Back Dynamic Failure of Composite Structures with Fluid-Structure Interaction
Fiscal Year | 2019 |

Summary | The objective of the proposed research is to understand dynamic characteristics and to predict potential failure of composite structures which interact with fluids, in particular water, while they are subjected to dynamic loading such as impact or underwater explosion. This is critical to design and build naval and marine structures without premature failure. In addition, the FSI effect with wave loading on composite structures will be investigated. |
