Summary | The Naval Information Warfare Centers (NIWC) Women of the Workforce (WOW) requested Naval Postgraduate School Center for Executive Education develop and deliver a virtual wellness education to assist in efforts to empower and retain women in leadership. SCOPE OF WORK: Provide wellness education to maximum of 30 participants, through read-aheads, accompanied by wellness exercises to guide each participant to build their own individual-ized wellness portfolio, classroom lectures on three scopes of health; Nutrition, Stress/Emotional, Sleep and Physical that are reinforced with directed team break out groups that allow for peer to peer mentoring. As part of discussions and feedback, the participants will develop their own well-ness portfolios including nutrition planning, stress immunity, emotional health and physical goals. Group fitness class will provide key tools for daily exercise that strives to achieve balance in mind and body. Take-aways from this course are individual wellness portfolios, tools for stress immunity, emotional health and reference videos for exercise to improve total health. |
