Summary | The objective of this collaborative task is to lay the foundation for a structural optimization methodology and demonstrate its applicability to the design/construction process using a simplified structural mode to be provided by NGSB. This optimization procedure will then serve as a platform for further incorporation of more detailed engineering design criteria such as acoustic energy dissipation, shock response and structural damping in the future. |
