Summary This Mobile Education Team (MET) course is EIMET certified, and IMET funded through the Naval Education Training Security Assistance Field Activity (NETSAFA) CCMR MASL P309370. The U.S. Embassy, Buenos Aires, through the NETSAFA system ordered the course from the approved NETSAFA course catalog.
The Cybersecurity Seminar Series offered by the International Defense Transformation program prepares decision-makers to effectively consider, design and implement elements of National Cyber Defense. In the “Cybersecurity Policy and Practice” seminar, participants will examine established policies and proven practices for enhancing the security of national and military networks and systems. This seminar was coordinated with the USSOUTHCOM and the country team in Argentina. The course and MASL number are established by Navy International Programs and the Defense Security Cooperation Agency. The Naval Postgraduate School will provide academic content, applicable frameworks and practical exercises for the Mobile Education Team (MET) Seminar on “Cybersecurity Policy and Practices” in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Approximately 40 participants from Argentine Armed Forces and Ministry of Defense are expected to attend the CPP MET.
