Summary | The objective of this research is to perform a preliminary investigation on dynamic modeling and autonomous guidance/control algorithms for the close approach of a chaser spacecraft to an uncooperative tumbling Resident Space Object (RSO) of interest. This challenging close approach maneuver can be performed in preparation of either docking or other proximity operations (e.g. close investigation). |
