Division Graduate School of Business & Public Policy
Department Graduate School of Business & Public Policy
Investigator(s) Karimova, Tahmina T.
Sponsor U.S. Special Operations Command (Joint)
Summary After executing the initial step of the program in July, 2015 the remaining original execution dates in September 2015 were moved at the request of the MILGRP & Sponsor due to a scheduling conflict with the host nation. In order to accommodate the request, the only viable option required selection of dates that crossed into the next fiscal year (Nov). Due to the sponsors funding restrictions this required NPS to return unused FY15 funds to the sponsor and receive new FY16 funds.
The remainder of the initial $82K from FY15 was returned to SOUTHCOM ($49,643) and the new amount of $48,400 was requested for FY16. The variation in the amounts results from a reconfiguration of the budget based on requests from the Sponsor.
