Summary	Increases in the quality and periodicity of commercial satellite imagery combined with improvements in feature recognition suggest that a non-classified capability to recognize vessels of interests in areas of United States Navy operations may be possible. If so, how will such a capability be operated? What other related capabilities can be added? How is such information shared in a coalition/partner environment? What kind of existing program should these kinds of capability seek to partner with? Research in FY16 verified these capabilities exist and that SeaVision will be the Navy's unclassified portal to such information. New research in FY17 will explore how to connect with SeaVision and how to concentrate on specific vessels of interest to SEVENTH Fleet operators.
