Summary | ONR has sponsored sustained research efforts directed towards understanding the behavior of explosive detonation under suprapressure conditions. The objective of this effort is to investigate the effect of convergent detonation on shaped charge liner collapse and jet formation. Three explosive charges prepared on a previously completed project will be shipped to- and tested at the American Ordnance facility located at the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant. |
