Summary | The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DRS) is committed to using cutting-edge technologies and scientific talent in its quest to make America safer. To this end, DRS Science and Technology (S&T) has supported the creation of a Virtual Training Simulation Program to provide realistic, virtual training for first responders. This Statement of Work (SOW) covers an element of that program that ensures this effort will successfully leverage existing efforts and successfully transition into the First Responder community in an appropriate, effective and efficient manner. To understand the role of the Strategic & Transition Working Group it is important to understand the scope and purpose of the Virtual Training Simulation Program. |
