Summary |
Summary The proposed Phase II research will continue Phase I research, begun in 2018 into more specific discovery and constraints analysis experiments to explore how to integrate UUVs, divers, commercial and cube satellites, self-forming manned-unmanned mesh networks, sensors and radars in order to achieve high level maritime domain awareness. Based on Phase I results in mesh networking across individual underwater, surface, ground, and orbital assets, the FY19 Phase II research will extend the study into formation networking architectures. This would include formation of CubeSat assets live in orbit, miniature steerable antenna based links to commercial satellites, formation of USVs and UGVs facilitating multi-domain links, long-endurance and short-living aerial nodes, all operating in one mesh formation. |
