Summary |
Heterogeneous computing architectures, such as a multi-core CPU paired with a GPGPU1, combine the CPU’s ability to efficiently handle serial tasks with the acceleration gained by parallelizing compute-intensive tasks with the GP-GPU. In this proposal, the NVIDIA Jetson TX2 is used as a representative near-future onboard computer with a heterogeneous computing architecture. We propose to investigate the application of heterogeneous computing to spacecraft attitude Guidance and Control (G&C), |
