Summary The proposed effort leverages the academic and research expertise, resources, and capabilities that reside at the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS). It makes available the experience and collection of best practices from related work that can be applied to the Energy Systems Technology Evaluation Program (ESTEP) mission. Led by the core team of NPS faculty in this proposal, this effort taps into communities of interest for energy-related research and education in the NPS Energy Academic Group. A host of systems, experienced faculty, and military operators, who are the catalysts of all efforts at NPS, are made available to the ESTEP.
To support the ESTEP and the NPS mission, staff will support ESTEP project teams in identifying cost and benefit metrics for cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses.
