Summary	Over the past few years, several commercial communications companies throughout the world have recognized a demand for broader mobile technologies that range from local area to wide area connectivity. The Department of Defense (DoD), and more specifically, the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), has also taken a keen interest in these technologies. During the most recent military conflicts, such as Operation Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom (OIF and OEF respectively), there as been significant operational need for delivering real-time video services to warfighter on the ground.
