Summary | The main objective of this collaboration is to research and explore the consequences of a potential terrorist attack on area school. This will include combined research, consequence management, policy review, information systems vulnerability, responder security, and emerging threats on critical US infrastructure that could have severe consequences to public, private, and military operations in an educational environment. The collaborators will perform a School Terrorism Awareness and Response (STAR-09) Exercise. The Exercise will analyze and identify the critical information needs of public and private organizations necessary for preventing, mitigating and responding to malicious school violence, terrorist attacks on children, emergency response plans and attack prevention measures. The results will be collectively analyzed. |
