Summary	The objective of this research is to increase the capability of the Department of the Navy's (DON) Information Assurance program in the area of system certification. It is subdivided into two tasks: 1) update the course materials to remain synchronized with the latest Department of Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) and the DON's process for certification and ultimate recommendation for accreditation; print and ship the materials prior to instructing the course; and 2) teach the course in five Naval Postgraduate school locations. This special offering furthers the Navy's Certification Authority education program.
