Summary | This research advances the techniques, tactics, and processes (TTPs) needed to success fully reverse engineer the wide spectrum of digital media that comprises the Internet of Things, in support of the Department of Defense's (DoD) document and media exploitation (DOMEX) mission and responsibilities, as delineated in DoD Directive 3300.03. The focus of this research is on hardware vice software reverse engineering, primarily because it is becoming common for digital media devices to have security and anti-forensic mechanisms resident at the hardware level. |
