Summary | Virtual Schoolhouse (VSH) is a distance-learning environment that allows live instructors to deliver courses to a distributed student population across the Naval enterprise using the Virtual World Enterprise Solution (VWES), a DON Enterprise Tool. The goal of the FY21 Modeling and Simulation (M&S) campus expansion is to add four DON M&S E&T courses and a resource library center to the existing Virtual World M&S Campus. One of these courses is specifically designed to introduce Digital Simulation (DS); with associated digital models, digital twins, and digital threads. These courses are designed to leverage the features and capabilities of VWES and VSH in order to provide the best immersive, interactive, network-accessible, distributed learning material available to the E&T community. Capstone events are also planned for course implementation and assessment |
