Summary |
Mechanical and electrical control systems, and the communications network through which these components operate are a high priority concern for MFCC leadership. This project addresses automated behavior based computer network defense and cyber analysis techniques. The study will explore impacts on C2 as cyber operations evolve, and assess implications for USMC cyber operations policy and doctrine. NPS will examine automated behavior based computer network defense and critique cyber analysis techniques. Command and control in cyber warfare requires command decisions under cognitive overload from an overwhelming volume and variety of multi-source data. NPS will investigate computer assisted methods for identifying the subset of available information relevant to making decisions in particular situations. |
