Summary Purpose is to conduct Total Ownership Cost (TOC) analysis (per guidance, this is equivalent to Life Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCE)) of the MK 18 MOD 2 UUV system. TOC is for the transition and successful integration of VSW Acoustic Color/Imaging Synthetic Aperture Sonar (SAS) as a module in the MK 18 MOD 2 UUV system. Furthermore, NPS will coordinate with NUWC Newport, who is performing a technical assessment on these new sensors for PMS 408, and with NSWC PC & SSC PAC on current life cycle support of the MK 18-2, SSAM.
