Summary | PMA-261 has established a Fleet Common Operating Environment to manage maintenance and logistics for Navy & USMC heavy lift helicopters (with UTC Sikorski under contract). They are making great strides in improving performance and developing improved sustainment programs. The stumbling blocks to successful execution are the other Navy organizations involved (NAVSUP, FRC's and DLA) whose processes and performance metrics are misaligned with the improved PMA-261 FCOE initiatives. This project will apply systems engineering and other approaches to help resolve these challenges. |
