Summary	Some of the important issues that will be addressed in the research include: - How to deal with the large amount of equipment waiting for repair at the facilities - The USMC does not have a system in place to optimize the fac1htics to which failed equipment must be shipped (from theater), in order to best utilize plant capabilities - Assignment of qualified personnel to facilities - Optimal location and sizing of the facilities
