Summary	The objective of the proposed research is to develop a set of quantitative metrics for four indicators of the risk in an evolutionary software project. These metrics can be automatically collected early in each cycle in the evolutionary development of a software project. They will be the basis to build a formal risk assessment model that will make different program managers derive the same projections on the same software project.
