Summary This research will evaluate different methods of distribution logistics and different logistic vessels in a contested environment. Researchers will develop distribution routes using a cost and risk assessment. The selection of routes, rendezvous points, vessels, and schedule should identify the lowest expected cost delivery method while meeting the demand in the quantities and locations required. The solution will take into consideration the distance traveled and the risk due to the proximity to the contested environment. A continuous time horizon with periodic review should be developed to identify a steady state delivery schedule.
Keywords Logistics, distribution, GPC, contested environment, continuous planning horizon, risk-based logistics optimization, resupply scheduling, multi-stop supply route.
