Summary The objective of this research is to support and evolve Modeling and Simulation (M&S) research initiatives of current 8825 students, NPS faculty advisors, qualified 8825 Officers, M&S stakeholder community representatives, and HPT&E principals to ensure Marine Corps gaps are properly addressed. By advancing collaboration and discussion across the M&S community of interest the effort will improve identification, selection, and execution of research that will directly benefit the Marine Corps and the HPT&E community at large. This effort will improve not only the M&S research quality but will also better indoctrinate newly qualified 8825 officers to Marine Corps needs and reinforce a strong M&S network of professionals. The research will focus on advancing cutting-edge M&S areas of interest that include but not limited to virtual environments, game theory, discrete even modeling, and systems analysis.
