Summary NPS will provide technical research and analysis to the ASD Research and Engineering and the NAVAIR Joint Electronic Advance Technology Program Office in the development and execution of an experimentation venue to explore technologies for the precise detection, classification and geo-location of radio frequency signals of interest to enable their exploitation, jamming, and negation in militarily-relevant timeframes. The primary objective is to identify and accelerate the introduction of advanced technology that extends our military advantage in a cost effective way. The scope of this research program is to provide technical, operational and program analysis expertise in support of electronic warfare, which will include research, development, analysis, and reporting, in support of the Vigilant Hammer program conducted on the NAVAIR Weapons Division China Lake range. NPS shall coordinate and collaborate with all relevant Navy, Air Force, Army and program office stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient program execution.
Technical and Program analysis support includes:
- Support the development and maintenance of test plans, test event analyses, evaluations, and recommendations, to ensure the technical and scientific evidence collected will support effective testing and future development efforts for the Navy and Dept of Defense.
