Sponsor Naval Supply Systems Command (Navy)
Summary The work to be undertaken under this project will be a new effort to provide support to the Naval Supply Systems Command on management, process, and training related issues. The specific topics are developed by mutual agreement of Naval Supply Systems Command staff and Prof. Ferrer.
It is expected that the topics will demand a variety of archival research methods, normally used by management faculty. Other archival methods are more likely found in operations research or information technology groups. The sequencing of the tasks have been decided based on discussions between Naval Supply Systems Command staff and the co-principal investigators. The project team will include other NPS faculty and NPS students as appropriate. The project team will deliver products that address at least three issues by the end of the calendar year and have the analysis of three additional topics underway. The funding of $60k will provide the support for the project team to complete three deliverable due before December 2015.
