Sponsor | Office of Naval Research (Navy) |
Summary | The objective of this research is to develop improved methods for localization and identification of gunshots and aerial drones using bio-inspired miniature MEMS acoustic sensors. The acoustic signatures of guns and aerial drones will be measured and studied in the audible range and MEMS sensors will be developed to identify specific signatures and locate the acoustic sources. |
