Summary | This proposal seeds funding to design and prototype a solar cell tester using a CubeSat platform. The CubeSat class satellite is a standard that is seeing growing acceptance in research institutes due to its small size and relatively low cost. These very small satellites (stackable ten centimeter cubes, one kilogram each) can provide NPS researchers and students with exciting, relatively short turnaround research projects in research payloads and for satellite engineering and operations. |
