Summary Fuel distribution and its availability is key to maintain force posture in peace and during all phases of a conflict. Considering recent Russian aggression in Ukraine and its potential aspiration towards NATO member European countries, NAVEUR must assess its current capability and potential gaps in Petroleum, Oil, and Lubricants (POL) distribution.
This study will build on the researcherâ¿¿s prior work on EUCOM POL issues for USAF and USAR to identify the current EUCOMâ¿¿s POL Capability & Capacity gaps. It will investigate NAVEURâ¿¿s current POL distribution capability gaps to potentially apply existing and future resources to address them.
In addition, the study will identify common traits and relationships between INDOPACOM & EUCOMâ¿¿s POL to prioritize resources accordingly.
