Summary | The Naval Air Systems Command Naval Leadership Development Program is an annual training and education program for senior civilian and military personnel. The objective of the program is to prepare personnel for senior leadership and management positions. The Global Perspectives seminar series delivered by NPS is designed to enrich and broaden the understanding of vital trends in global and regional by exposing the participants to – and engaging them in discussion with – specialists in the field of national security. It balances the broader theoretical perspective of social-science analysis with the specific concerns of contemporary practitioners of security affairs. The goal is to prepare participants from NAVAIR for greater responsibilities within the domains of policy-making, intelligence, diplomacy, and combat operations, which increasingly depend on coordination with coalition and alliance partners. |
