Summary Our previous research (TRWG 13-01-016) demonstrated through a "proof of concept" the feasibility and usefulness of ADF (Application Development Framework) to develop a suite of analytics to augment GCSS-MC. ADF allows developers to quickly develop web applications used for analytics. This study would be the follow-on to TRWG 13-0 1-016 and take the next step by installing the analytic system on one or two servers at NPS or an alternative remote site agreed to by the sponsor. In addition to the installation of the servers research work will be conducted on how to optimize the speed and performance of the analytics to produce the desired results. With feedback from the sponsors additional or modified analytics will be produced on this system. Security would also be added to the suite of analytics, which was lacking in the proof of concept. The goal of this research is to bring this prototype as close to a model of a production server as possible. In addition to the above, the research will refine what data in GCSS has to be "cleaned up" and the data needed for a data mart as well as defining "real time" data, i.e., how often does the data mart need updating and the technical consequences. The first step is to use the small dataset and then the full GCSS database to more accurately assess and stress test the performance of the analytics on a pre-production server.
