Summary | The importance of strategy and the education of strategists have been studies since at least Sun Tzu. Yet, several have pointed to the decline in strategy and strategic thinking and the need to get better in both thinking and doing strategy. This research will review best practices from different disciplines and methodologies and offer suggestions / implications for how to improve strategic thinking and the education of strategists, especially focusing on how lessons from business school methods and perspectives might be useful in a national security context. |
