Summary | To provide instruction on fundamentals of DOD Architecture Framework products as artifacts of systems engineering processes in the Defense Acquisition environment. Topics covered include a brief history of the DoDAF, a review of Defense Acquisition cycles, overview of the systems engineering process and common supporting modeling tools, a detailed description of each required DoDAF product and a process for creating them. The instruction will be reinforced with class activities and outside reading that will enable the students to develop complete and defensible architectures as required by Defense Acquisition directives and the JCIDS process. |
